Southern Gaza Strip, Gaza – Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) troops from the 7th Brigade, operating under the Gaza Division Command, discovered a cache of weapons hidden in UNRWA humanitarian aid bags while clearing areas east of the Yellow Line.

During the operation, the forces located approximately 110 mortar shells, several rockets, and additional combat equipment concealed in blankets and aid bags.

The operation is part of ongoing efforts by IDF units to remove both above-ground and underground terrorist infrastructure and weapons from the southern Gaza Strip.

The discovery highlights the continued vigilance of IDF troops in securing the region and preventing the misuse of civilian humanitarian supplies for armed purposes.
