Northern Gaza Strip – The IDF’s Northern Gaza Brigade and Yahalom Unit reported dismantling a Hamas tunnel route extending hundreds of meters on July 27, 2026.

The tunnel was located east of the Yellow Line in an area under Israeli control as part of ongoing efforts to destroy Hamas’ underground infrastructure.

Footage shows a long, narrow passage reinforced with concrete arches and supports. The uneven dirt floor is scattered with debris, while cables and blue markings can be seen along the walls.

The tunnel stretches into darkness before reaching a vertical shaft fitted with a ladder leading upward.
