IDF Destroys Explosives Cache Inside School In West Bank, Palestine

Beit Ummar, West Bank – An Israeli military operation uncovered and destroyed a hidden explosives cache located in vegetation inside a school area in the village of Beit Ummar, within the Etzion Brigade sector.

The video, released as an official IDF compilation, shows the discovery and controlled demolition of the weapons stash inside the school grounds.

Drone footage shows the school courtyard and surrounding buildings in daylight before a controlled detonation occurs in an open paved area, producing a large plume of thick black and grey smoke that rises and spreads across the scene.

Ground footage shows soldiers in full combat gear moving through dense vegetation beside the school building. They inspect the area and indicate where the hidden explosives were located, as the operation is documented in real time.

The operation followed interrogations of two individuals arrested two weeks earlier for throwing explosive devices and Molotov cocktails at the nearby community of Karmei Tzur, an attack that caused no injuries.

Following intelligence from those interrogations, IDF and Border Police forces located and safely dismantled the hidden cache in the school vicinity without damaging the building.

Authorities stated the weapons belonged to individuals involved in the earlier attacks and emphasized that the use of schools for weapons storage is viewed with extreme severity, with continued operations planned to prevent similar threats.
