Southern Lebanon – Newly released bodycam footage shows soldiers moving through a network of narrow underground tunnels reportedly used as living quarters by Hezbollah operatives in the Litani area.
The first-person video, lit by a strong flashlight, captures troops advancing through dark, rough stone corridors deep below ground. The passageways are tight and uneven, with rock walls surrounding the soldiers as they carefully move forward.
Inside the tunnel system, multiple makeshift living spaces are visible. Mattresses and blankets are placed directly on the floor or on low concrete block platforms. Scattered items include plastic water containers, a green watering can, fabric coverings, sacks, and small storage boxes, showing signs of extended use.
The footage shows the flashlight sweeping across cramped, dusty areas as the troops continue deeper into the underground network.
The video was released with a statement describing it as footage of living quarters used by Hezbollah operatives. It relates to operations aimed at clearing underground and surface-level infrastructure south of a forward defensive line.
According to the information provided, more than 100 military targets were dismantled during these operations. These included underground tunnel routes, compounds, weapons storage sites, and missile launch systems.
Close-quarters engagements also took place, with troops reportedly eliminating multiple operatives while receiving aerial support during the operation.
