Nablus, West Bank – Israeli forces demolished part of the home of a Palestinian man accused of carrying out a deadly vehicle attack in March, with explosions sending smoke and dust from the building on Thursday, September 24.
The IDF said Yahalom combat engineers and Nahal reconnaissance troops, operating under the Shomron Brigade, demolished the home in Beit Imrin, northwest of Nablus.
The man, Dawas Hasson, has been detained since March and is accused of the March 21 attack in which 18-year-old Yehuda Shmuel Sherman was killed and another Israeli was wounded.
Aerial footage shows several charges exploding inside the multi-storey house, sending smoke and dust from the lower floors while the upper floor remains standing.
The demolition was carried out using a method in which walls on two floors were destroyed while the third floor was left standing, according to Israeli media reports.
