Southern Lebanon – Official aerial footage released by the Israeli Air Force shows coordinated precision strikes carried out against Hezbollah infrastructure across multiple locations in southern Lebanon during the weekend of May 9–10, 2026.

The video opens with a high-altitude color view of a built-up area containing residential-style buildings, roads, and surrounding trees. A targeting crosshair locks onto specific structures moments before powerful explosions erupt.

Large blasts send thick gray-white smoke and debris rising rapidly into the air, filling the surrounding area with expanding clouds.

The footage then transitions to black-and-white thermal and infrared imaging. Bright targeting indicators track additional sites identified as military buildings used by Hezbollah operatives, weapons storage facilities, and rocket launchers.

Multiple bright flashes mark impacts, followed by secondary explosions and continuing plumes of smoke and scattered debris across the targeted areas.

On-screen Hebrew subtitles identify the strikes and state that Hezbollah operatives operating near Israeli forces were eliminated during the operation.

According to the released information, the coordinated mission involved the Israeli Air Force and Division 91’s Fire Brigade, striking more than 40 terror-related targets in total.

The operation reportedly resulted in the elimination of over 10 Hezbollah operatives described as posing an immediate threat to Israeli forces in southern Lebanon.

The targeted infrastructure was linked to planning and launching attacks, including buildings used for operations, weapons storage sites, and additional launch facilities.

The strikes come amid ongoing border tensions despite a fragile ceasefire, as operations continue aimed at removing Hezbollah threats in the region.
