Barrytown, New York – On January 26, 2026, the Coast Guard Cutter Penobscot Bay responded to a report of the tug Erin Elizabeth trapped in ice near Barrytown.
The cutter broke the Erin Elizabeth free and confirmed there was no damage before operations resumed.
