Freeport, The Bahamas – Air and Marine Operations (AMO) units intercepted a human smuggling vessel near Freeport on May 11, 2026.
An AMO aircrew first spotted a suspicious cabin cruiser at approximately 11:00 a.m. and relayed its location to marine units for tracking.
Following hours of coordinated surveillance, two AMO marine units intercepted the vessel.
Onboard, agents discovered a human smuggling operation with 21 people. All individuals were transferred to the USCG Cutter Raymond Evans.
