Belfast, Northern Ireland – HMS Queen Elizabeth arrived in Belfast on October 7 for a routine port visit and logistics stop, receiving a warm welcome from the city.
The Royal Navy aircraft carrier will take part in defence engagement events while its crew gets an opportunity for rest and recuperation during the visit.
The stop comes as HMS Queen Elizabeth continues its return to frontline operations following a major overhaul in Rosyth, Scotland.
Throughout the autumn, the carrier is conducting extensive training with Royal Navy helicopters around the UK and in the eastern Atlantic, alongside trials involving drones.
