Munich, Germany – A historic show of support for Iran’s anti-regime movement unfolded on February 14, 2026, as approximately 250,000 demonstrators filled Theresienwiese for a massive Global Day of Action rally.
The crowd formed a sea of pre-1979 Iranian flags in red, white, and green, adorned with the golden lion and sun. Portraits of Crown Prince Reza Pahlavi were carried throughout, alongside banners reading “King Reza Pahlavi,” “Javid Shah,” “Regime Change Now,” and “This Is Our Final Battle.”
Chants of “Death to the dictator!” and “King Reza Pahlavi!” echoed through the fairgrounds as families, youth draped in flags, and veterans marched together. The atmosphere was charged with energy and unity as demonstrators pressed their call for international support and democratic transition in Iran.
German authorities managed the massive turnout, keeping order as the rally spilled onto surrounding streets. The event coincided with world leaders gathering nearby, highlighting the diaspora’s global push for change.
A massive Lion and Sun flag, reportedly the largest ever unfurled in Germany, waved triumphantly over the crowd, symbolizing the “Lion and Sun Revolution” in motion. The sweeping vista of participants underscored the scale and coordination of this global solidarity movement.
Similar demonstrations occurred worldwide, in cities including Toronto and Los Angeles, forming part of a coordinated global action advocating freedom and regime change in Iran.
