Orange County, United States – A hiker was safely rescued from Black Star Canyon yesterday after becoming stranded, according to authorities.
OCFA Helicopter 3 (HC3) responded to the scene and used a “hot seat” hoist to extract the hiker. The operation was completed without injury, and the individual was transported to a safe location.
Officials reminded backcountry visitors to exercise caution, noting that trained crews are ready to respond if emergencies arise.
