High Speed Chase Ends In Roll Over Crash During Fond Du Lac County Pursuit

Fond du Lac, United States – A high-speed pursuit involving a wanted felon ended in a farm field roll over crash on May 8, 2026, after a series of dangerous incidents in Fond du Lac County.

The Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Office released dash cam video showing the pursuit, which involved a suspect who had previously evaded law enforcement during two separate chases in recent weeks.

Officials said that in all three pursuits, the driver acted with extreme recklessness, repeatedly endangering the public and other motorists.

The chase ended when the vehicle left the roadway and entered a farm field, where it intentionally struck a squad car and attempted to flee back toward the roadway. The incident ended in a roll over crash before deputies moved in.

Deputies with the Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Office, acting as the first backup unit to the initial traffic stop, took decisive action and disabled the suspect’s vehicle, bringing the pursuit to an end.

Authorities identified the driver as Antonie L. Wells, who was arrested and faces multiple charges including fleeing and eluding an officer, first-degree recklessly endangering safety, resisting and obstructing an officer, possession of hallucinogenic and stimulant drugs, and delivering illegal articles to an inmate.

The passenger, Crystal Olcikas, also faces charges including possession of drug paraphernalia, fleeing and eluding an officer, first-degree recklessly endangering safety, resisting or obstructing an officer, and possession of THC.
