Colorado, United States – Video filmed by X user CAIC: Statewide Info shows heavy snowfall covering a mountain area in Colorado as dangerous winter conditions intensified.

The footage captures thick white snowflakes falling continuously and rapidly accumulating across the landscape. A white Colorado Avalanche Information Center pickup truck and a dark-colored SUV are both heavily buried beneath fresh snow.

Snow-covered evergreen trees, a wooden building, a fence, and a white “RANGER VEHICLES ONLY” sign are visible through the low visibility and wintry haze as the storm continues.

The video was posted as part of the Colorado Avalanche Information Center’s Mountain Operations Discussion update, highlighting hazardous conditions in the mountains.

Officials warned that wind-drifted slabs were forming in very steep terrain, creating increased avalanche danger.

The agency also stated that upper elevations in the Park Range and Rocky Mountain National Park could receive more than a foot of new snow, significantly raising the avalanche risk across the region.
