Jacksonville, Florida – A group of good Samaritans helped rescue a woman and her two young children during a carjacking last month.

Deputies said the woman was trying to remove her children, a six-month-old and a two-year-old, from her SUV when a suspect attempted to steal the vehicle.

As the suspect drove off, the woman and one of her children were dragged by the moving SUV.

Witnesses quickly intervened and were able to get all three to safety before calling authorities.

Officials later located and arrested the suspect involved in the carjacking.
