Funnel Cloud Spins Near Colorado Neighborhood During Severe Storm

Roxborough Park, Colorado – A funnel cloud was seen rotating near Roxborough Park in Littleton, Colorado, at approximately 1:37 p.m. Mountain Time on May 29, 2026.

Filmed from a residential neighborhood, the video shows a distinct spinning condensation funnel hanging from the base of a dark storm cloud in the distance.

The funnel appears relatively narrow but well-defined as it moves across the area. Houses, trees, and suburban surroundings can be seen in the foreground beneath stormy skies.

The footage quickly gained attention as one of the clearer recordings of the funnel cloud that developed during a round of strong thunderstorms that brought hail, heavy rain, and localized flooding to parts of the Denver metro area that day.

The National Weather Service had issued severe thunderstorm warnings for the region, while some locations were also under tornado warnings as the storms moved through.
