Flood Debris Blocks Texas Road As Police Vehicle Guards Dangerous Waters

Kerr County, Texas – A Texas Department of Public Safety vehicle blocks a damaged roadway surrounded by flood debris as troopers continue supporting the statewide response to severe flooding.

The video shows a black Texas DPS State Trooper SUV with flashing emergency lights parked beside a large pile of branches, logs, and vegetation covering the road. A green sign marked “Guadalupe River” stands nearby, while another vehicle marked “POLICE” is also visible at the scene.

Texas DPS troopers are working in Kerr County to block bridges and roads that may be unsafe for drivers or pedestrians. The closures are part of efforts to keep people away from dangerous flooded areas and debris-covered routes.

Officials continue warning residents not to walk or drive through floodwaters, using the message “Turn Around, Don’t Drown.” They caution that even a small amount of moving water can carry away a person or vehicle.
