Firefighters Cut Fence To Free Trapped Deer In California Park

Lake Forest, California – Firefighters responded on Easter morning after a deer became trapped in a fence at Borrego Park.

Engine 54 was requested by the Orange County Sheriff’s Department to assist after the animal became tightly wedged between its hips and ribs.

The crew carefully used a saw to cut through one of the fence bars, then gently pulled the deer out backwards.

After resting on the ground for a few minutes, the deer got up and ran off into the surrounding area.
