Beulah, Colorado, USA – Nighttime footage from the fire line shows Colorado Springs firefighters carrying out structure protection and suppression operations on the Aspen Acres Fire.

Crews move through dark, smoke-filled terrain illuminated by vehicle lights and headlamps. Visible flames and glowing embers burn on slopes and near homes as firefighters operate hoses and equipment in challenging low-visibility conditions. Aircraft or ground resources also support the overnight response.

The footage captures Colorado Springs Firefighters Local 5 during night shift operations as part of the multi-agency response to the Aspen Acres Fire.

As the wildfire continued pushing through the area in early July 2026, crews focused on protecting structures in threatened communities such as Beulah while carrying out direct attacks on the fire edge.

The overnight operations highlight the continued efforts of firefighters working to protect communities in the rugged terrain southwest of Pueblo amid active fire behavior.
