Reno, Nevada – Reno and Sparks firefighters worked through the night as erratic fire behavior continued on the Fred’s Fire and Bug Fire north of Reno.

Nighttime footage captures an intense flame front burning across a dark hillside, with thick orange and red smoke rising into the sky.

A clear fire tornado, also known as a fire whirl, forms above the flames. The tall rotating column of fire and smoke rises directly from the active fire line.

Bright white-hot sections are visible within the flames as the wildfire continues burning across the hillside.
