London, United Kingdom – Video filmed by X user jewish shows thick black smoke rising heavily into the sky from Kosher Kingdom on Golders Green Road in north London on the morning of May 27, 2026.

Dense dark smoke is seen pouring upward above the supermarket building, with the plume clearly visible from street level during the active stage of the fire.

The blaze began shortly after 6:47 a.m. behind the supermarket. Around 100 firefighters and 15 fire engines from the London Fire Brigade were deployed to the scene.

Crews used ladders and drones in an effort to control the fire, which spread into parts of the supermarket and nearby storage areas. Several flats above the store were evacuated as a precaution.

No injuries were reported during the incident.

The London Fire Brigade later confirmed the fire was caused by an electrical fault and stated that it was not suspicious.

The incident led to significant disruption in the area, including road closures and a strong emergency presence throughout the morning.

The video was shared by a local resident who also posted additional clips from the same road on the same day.
