Rosora, Italy – Firefighters have been operating in Rosora, in the province of Ancona, since 11:00 a.m. on Sunday, June 21, 2026, after an explosion caused the collapse of a house.

A gas leak is considered the probable cause of the explosion.

One man became trapped beneath the rubble and was rescued by firefighters before being placed in the care of medical personnel.

Operations are still underway to rule out the possible involvement of any additional people.
