Long Island, New York, USA – A ground-level view shows an echelon plow formation moving across the Southern State Parkway as snow removal operations continue across Long Island.

The New York State Department of Transportation reports that more than 250 plows are deployed from one end of Long Island to the other, working to clear state roads. Crews are focused on removing every possible layer of snow from the pavement.
