Glencullen / Dublin Mountains, Ireland – A dramatic video filmed by Dublin Fire Brigade shows an intense gorse wildfire burning across the Dublin Mountains after the blaze reignited.

The footage captures bright orange flames racing across a hillside covered with low green and purple vegetation as thick smoke rises into the sky. Wider views reveal the fire line advancing across the sloping landscape beneath an overcast sky, with a massive smoke plume and forested areas visible on higher ground. The Dublin Fire Brigade crest appears as a watermark throughout the video.

Dublin Fire Brigade reported that firefighters from Rathfarnham and Dún Laoghaire responded to the reignited gorse wildfire.

Smoke drifted from the south over Three Rock into parts of South Dublin. Residents affected by the smoke were advised to close their windows and doors as a precaution.

The wildfire had been fought several days earlier before being reduced considerably.
