Trieste, Italy – Firefighters from Trieste responded Sunday morning at the San Giusto Basin after a car fell into the sea, with the driver brought to safety.

Nautical specialists located the vehicle seven meters below the surface using sonar.

Divers entered the water and ruled out the presence of any other people inside the vehicle.

The car was lifted back to the surface using lifting balloons and recovered onto the dock with a crane truck.
