Osceola County, Michigan – Video filmed by the Osceola County Sheriff’s Office shows a dramatic rescue after a vehicle caught fire on July 4.

Their quick thinking, selfless actions, and willingness to put themselves in harm’s way made all the difference.

The footage captures the deputy and civilians pulling the trapped driver to safety as flames engulfed the vehicle.

The Osceola County Sheriff’s Office said the rescue serves as a reminder that while many people enjoy holidays with family and friends, there are men and women standing watch, ready to answer the call when someone needs help most.
