Guatire, Miranda state, Venezuela – Video filmed by X user Aaron_GG shows the aftermath of the powerful earthquakes that struck Venezuela on June 24, 2026, leaving severe damage across the streets of Guatire.

A massive pile of debris from a collapsed building dominates the area. Twisted metal, broken concrete slabs, and scattered rubble cover the roadway, while a white sedan remains partially buried beneath the wreckage.

People move carefully through the damaged streets as emergency vehicles with flashing lights respond nearby. Overhead power lines hang low, damaged structures lean dangerously, and residents inspect the destruction as dust rises beneath cloudy skies.

Additional footage shows the outside of a commercial center with cracked walls, displaced structures, and surrounding areas covered by fallen debris and damaged infrastructure. The camera passes green fencing and trees while approaching the affected buildings.

The person who recorded the video said, “I was inside that shopping center in a gym. The ceiling almost fell on me.”

The twin earthquakes, measuring approximately 7.1-7.2 and 7.5 in magnitude, triggered panic, building collapses, and infrastructure damage across Miranda state and the Caracas region. Authorities declared a state of emergency as rescue teams searched for survivors amid reports of fatalities and injuries.
