Innisfil, Ontario, Canada – Video filmed by the Ontario Provincial Police Highway Safety Division shows officers responding to an unusual incident on northbound Highway 400 near 4th Line, where a cow was found on the right shoulder.

Police urged motorists traveling northbound on the highway to slow down and move over while officers managed the situation.

Aurora OPP officers responded to the scene and worked to divert the animal to a sideroad off the highway.

The incident temporarily created an unusual hazard for drivers along the busy roadway as police safely guided the cow away from traffic.
