Cop Uses Traffic Cone To Move Stubborn Beaver In Unusual Encounter

Firestone, United States – The Firestone Police Department reported an unusual encounter over the weekend involving officers and a beaver that required an unconventional response.

According to the department, officers came across the animal during an incident shared with the public, opening with the phrase: “Dude, never have I ever.”

The report described the beaver as approximately 16 inches tall, with brown hair, very large teeth, and an estimated weight of 35–45 pounds.

Officers attempted to move it from an intersection to a safer location using calm reasoning and standard critical incident training procedures, but it did not move.

Eventually, officers succeeded in getting the beaver to leave with the help of a traffic cone used during the interaction.

The department added that, despite the unusual nature of the call, they remain ready to respond to all situations, ranging from serious emergencies to unexpected wildlife encounters.
