Cool Cop’s “Better Rider” Burn Caps Off Dramatic E-Bike Chase at Orange County Park

Orange County, United States – A Southern California teen’s attempt to escape on an e-bike through Grijalva Park was stopped by a motorcycle officer who calmly narrated the entire pursuit.

The chase was captured on video as the officer followed the rider while speaking in a steady tone throughout the incident.

At one point, the officer said, “I would stop if I were you. This is a really, really bad idea,” while continuing the pursuit.

He also stated, “Okay. I mean, we can keep going, but it’s a bad idea. Your face is on camera. I know you go to school around here. I’m going to find you. What’s mom and dad going to say when they see your face. When I tell them this?”

The officer added, “I promise I’m a better rider than you too.”

He later ordered the rider to stop, saying, “Oh, look, I’m still here. Get off the bike! Get off the bike, or we’re gonna have big problems, bud.”

The pursuit ended shortly after that moment in the park.

Authorities confirmed a rider attempted to flee an officer in Grijalva Park but was quickly stopped.

The rider received nine citations and had the motorcycle impounded. The officer is shown issuing a detailed written citation at the scene.

The cited violations included evading police, fleeing, violating municipal code rules, unsafe riding in a city park, operating without license plates, riding without a helmet, lacking valid driver or motorcycle licensing, failing to carry insurance and registration, and not having mirrors on the vehicle.
