Suiattle River Valley, Washington, USA – A Coast Guard MH-60 Jayhawk aircrew from Air Station Astoria rescued two hunters stranded in a remote cabin after floodwaters washed out their only escape route.

The hunters had run out of food and were isolated by rising waters, prompting the swift aerial operation. The Jayhawk crew conducted a hoist, safely lifting both individuals from the precarious situation.
