Denia, Spain – Authorities successfully detonated a Civil War-era shell found 400 meters off the coast near Albarana Beach in Denia, Alicante.

The operation was carried out by the Navy’s Diving Unit, with support from the Guardia Civil patrol boat Río Oja and personnel from the Special Underwater Activities Group.

Officials confirmed that the detonation was conducted safely, preventing any risk to nearby beachgoers and maritime traffic.
