Messina, Italy – Firefighters are working at the scene of a partial building collapse in the Pistunina area of Messina, where a structure containing commercial activities and homes was damaged.

The intervention began at 4 p.m. on Thursday, July 30, 2026, after part of the building collapsed.

Firefighters are carrying out search operations for people reported missing in connection with the collapse.
