Ji’an, Jiangxi, China – Firefighters safely captured a cobra after it slithered into a villager’s home, with the dramatic rescue taking an unexpected turn when the family’s dog rushed in to confront the snake.

The cobra was spotted inside the home, prompting the homeowner to immediately call emergency services for assistance.

Firefighters quickly arrived and used professional snake-catching equipment to safely capture and remove the cobra.

Video from the rescue shows firefighters securing the snake inside the house before carrying it outside. During the operation, the homeowner’s dog suddenly charged at the cobra, appearing to assist the firefighters as they completed the capture.
