Mono County, California – Caltrans District 9 crews have been actively clearing snow from roads in Mono County during a brief break in winter storms.

Maintenance teams were seen operating on State Route 158 near June Lake, using equipment to remove snow and keep the roadway safe for drivers.

Authorities reminded motorists to slow down and give crews plenty of space while they work. Safety remains the top priority for both road crews and travelers.
