Canlaon City, Philippines – Kanlaon Volcano emitted grayish ash plumes on Wednesday evening, March 25, 2026, rising approximately 600 meters above its summit crater.
The eruption began at 5:54 PM and was captured by time-lapse footage from the IP camera at Kanlaon Volcano Observatory–Canlaon City (KVO-CC).
The drifting ash plumes moved southwest from the crater, prompting authorities to maintain Alert Level 2 over the volcano.
Residents and visitors in nearby areas are advised to remain alert and follow safety protocols as monitored by the observatory.
