Hillsborough County, Florida – On May 6th, Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to a scaly situation outside Fishhawk Early Learning Preschool.

An alligator named Elvis was spotted lounging in the parking lot as families arrived.

With children and staff moving between schools, deputies acted quickly to keep everyone safe.

They directed foot traffic away from the 9-foot reptile while waiting for a certified trapper.

The alligator was safely captured and relocated with assistance from the deputies.

Thanks to fast action and teamwork, the area was cleared without injuries.
