Sonoma-Lake-Napa Unit, California, USA – Firefighters are making steady progress on a wildfire that has burned approximately 95 acres and is now 10 percent contained.

Forward spread of the fire has been stopped as air and ground resources continue suppression efforts.

Three helicopters are conducting water drops over the fire zone, while fixed-wing aircraft are dropping pink fire retardant, a slurry mixture of water, fertilizer, and other ingredients designed to slow or stop the fire’s spread.

On the ground, crews are continuing hose lays and dozers are building containment lines as part of the ongoing effort to secure the perimeter.
