Murcia, Spain – Authorities uncovered a large marijuana plantation after a woman fleeing a violent partner escaped from a property by jumping over a wall while being shot at.

The investigation revealed around 700 marijuana plants growing on the site. Officials also discovered an illegal connection to the power grid and seized a stolen pistol and shotgun.

Three individuals were arrested in connection with the operation. All have extensive records for drug and weapons trafficking.

The woman’s daring escape allowed authorities to intervene, preventing further violence and exposing the illicit activities.
