Uss Abraham Lincoln Conducts Flight Operations During Operation Epic Fury

Undisclosed Location – The Nimitz-class aircraft carrier USS Abraham Lincoln (CVN 72) was shown sailing and carrying out flight operations on March 4, 2026, as it supported Operation Epic Fury.

The warship was filmed underway while aircraft operations were conducted from its flight deck as part of the ongoing mission.

USS Abraham Lincoln is operating in the U.S. 5th Fleet area of responsibility, supporting maritime security and stability in the Middle East while contributing to the broader military campaign.

During Operation Epic Fury, aircraft assigned to Carrier Air Wing Nine—including F-35C Lightning II jets, F/A-18E Super Hornets, and EA-18G Growlers—have launched from the carrier to carry out strike missions against targets in Iran.

The deployment places the aircraft carrier among a large U.S. naval force supporting the operation across the region, where multiple warships and air assets are participating in the campaign.
