Lincolnshire, England – Typhoons from RAF Coningsby’s 3(F) Squadron have flown sorties on EASTERN SENTRY to secure airspace following recent incursions by unapproved RPAS flights over Poland and Romania.

RAF Coningsby serves as a main operating base and hosts two frontline combat Typhoon Squadrons, a joint UK-Qatari Training Squadron, a Typhoon training Squadron, and a Test and Evaluation Squadron.

The base is also home to the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight and provides 24/7 Typhoon Quick Reaction Alert coverage for the United Kingdom every day of the year.
