Payson, Arizona – Dramatic footage captured from an apartment balcony shows two semi trucks erupting in flames outside a residential area in Payson.

The video, filmed by social media user JP, shows the trucks fully engulfed in fire with multiple massive explosions sending orange fireballs and bright white blasts into the night sky. Sparks and debris fly as the vehicles burn violently.

The witness said, “Heard an explosion while playing Halo 2 and went outside with my neighbors and saw 2 semi trucks on fire.”

Police confirmed that one of the trucks was a chemical vehicle and instructed residents to go inside after about an hour for safety.

Neighbors watched from their apartments as the fiery blasts lit up the night, with the explosions occurring several times according to the footage.

Authorities continue to respond to the scene to ensure public safety and contain the blaze.
