Cosenza, Italy – Twelve workers were rescued on the afternoon of Wednesday, July 9, after becoming trapped at height on two elevated platforms.

The incident occurred during maintenance work on pylons of the Friddizza viaduct along the A2 highway.

The Vigili del Fuoco (fire brigade) responded to the emergency.

Specialized SAF units from the Cosenza fire command carried out the rescue and safely brought all twelve workers back to the ground.
