Tsunami Fears Force Hotel Guests To Sleep In Hallways On Higher Floors

North Shore Oahu, United States – A video recorded by Dustin Sciara captures the tense atmosphere inside a hotel as guests are seen sitting and sleeping on the floor of the upper levels.

The footage was taken after a massive earthquake struck Russia’s far east, prompting tsunami concerns across the Pacific.

According to Dustin, “People on lower floors forced to sleep in the hallway on higher floors for safety.”

Guests, some with pillows and blankets, lined the hotel corridors during the night, seeking higher ground in case of an incoming wave.

The scene reflects the anxiety following the quake, as people took precautionary steps amid fears of a potential tsunami impact on Hawaii.
