Totana Ravaged By Flash Flooding After Record Rainfall

Totana, Murcia, Spain – X user Fercosher shared footage on December 14, 2025, showing severe flash flooding in the urban center of Totana during an extreme rainfall event.

The caption states: “Today’s storm has recorded in some points of Totana 211 l/m². This is the state of the Rambla de la Santa right now, as it passes through the center of Totana.”

The normally dry Rambla de la Santa was transformed into a raging torrent of muddy brown water, surging powerfully through the town. Floodwaters filled the channel, churning with waves, foam, and debris as they passed concrete barriers and steps.

Heavy rain fell steadily, while trees overhanging the channel dripped under the storm. Multi-story residential buildings lined both sides of the rambla, with streetlights reflecting off the turbulent water. No people or vehicles were visible as the storm’s force dominated the scene.
