Grazalema, Spain – The Guardia Civil and other emergency services are carrying out a large-scale evacuation in Grazalema, Cádiz, as Storm Leonardo brings heavy rains and creates an imminent risk of flooding and landslides.
Around 1,600 residents are being moved from their homes to safe locations. The operation is designed to ensure an orderly evacuation amid saturated terrain caused by persistent rainfall.
Members of the Guardia Civil’s GRS (Reserve and Security Groups) are actively participating in the evacuation, helping residents leave the area safely and preventing potential disaster.
