Kahaluʻu, Hawaii, United States – Dashcam footage filmed by X user Spear$$72 shows a vehicle moving slowly through a suddenly flooded residential street at 2 p.m. on March 24, 2026.

Heavy rain pours down as the car follows a black pickup truck pushing through deep, murky brown floodwater, sending large wakes and splashes outward from its tires.

Raindrops streak across the windshield while the wipers move back and forth, and the road ahead is completely submerged, with water rising well up the wheels of the vehicles.

Houses, power lines, palm trees, and road signs line the street beneath a gray, overcast sky as the driver carefully continues forward through the sudden deluge.
