Grazalema, Spain – Storm Leonardo continues to batter Andalucía, prompting widespread emergency responses from the Guardia Civil.
A drone captured aerial footage of La Olla sinkhole in the Grazalema mountains near the A-374 road, highlighting the impact of persistent rainfall.
Authorities have closed the GR 3201 road at the only access point to the Aguas Blancas residential area in Dúdar, Granada. A sinkhole in the roadway and the risk of bridge collapse have left around 120 people isolated.
In Cádiz, over 200 residents from a neighborhood in Arcos de la Frontera have been evacuated due to flooding risks. Guardia Civil specialists from GEAS have also rescued several dogs and a resident in Jerez affected by the rising Guadalete River, and assisted elderly people in Ubrique.
