Edinburgh, Scotland – A video filmed by Howard Griffiths shows powerful gusts from Storm Floris striking the Edinburgh Festival Fringe on August 4.

The storm’s intense winds disrupted festival activities and led to event cancellations.

Howard said: “Our 3pm Ed Fringe 2025 booked show In The Land of Eagles has been cancelled today by venue due to Storm Floris dangerous high winds. We passed this on way to show. Currently having a hot garlic chicken curry to compensate. Stay safe in Storm Floris.”
