Aldeanueva de Ebro, Spain – The Spanish Civil Guard located a large marijuana plantation hidden among pine forests in the municipality of Aldeanueva de Ebro through aerial surveillance.
The plantation included a clandestine camp where individuals lived while maintaining, guarding, and overseeing the crop.
Authorities seized 1,356 plants that could yield up to 180 kilograms of marijuana. The illegal market value is estimated at around 350,000 euros.
This operation dismantled one of the largest cannabis cultivations detected by aerial monitoring in La Rioja in recent years.
