Herbés, Spain – Images shared by local authorities show snow removal teams working in the Herbés area as heavy snowfall affects the region.

The Generalitat Valenciana’s emergency service, GVA112, has activated a yellow alert for snow in the northern interior.

The AEMET weather agency forecasts snow accumulations of up to 5 centimeters in 24 hours at elevations above 1,000 meters.

Authorities from Bombers Dipcas have urged caution and advised residents to avoid traveling on affected roads whenever possible.
